What music is your guilty pleasure?

I knwo that we all have our mainstream music that everyone knows about but there is always that one kind of music that we really do love but know that if we say anything to our friends we will get hazed for it.  i will start off by saying I do like Hanson, Backstreet Boys and a few other ones.

So tell me, what is your musical guilty pleasure?

Hey nothing wrong with country. Its not like it used to be back in the 60's/70's. It has changed quite a bit since then and its got quite a bit of rock under tones to it. Granted, country singers can still belt out the lovey-dovey sappy songs as well as the heartbreak songs, but they are more along the lines of content that we can relate to.

Well please don't take the girl and god bless Texas is from late 80's early 90's so not new country. A lot of the new country now day's isn't the lovey dovey sappy stuff from back in the old day's. Quite a bit of it can be pretty funny. take brad paisley for example. quite a few of his songs are pretty damn funny

I like the contemporary Christian from back in the 80's bands like Crimson Thorn and Bride, Newsboys, Dc Talk and Sozo, the whole genre gets a bad rap because it's "religious" to be fair alot of the songs from this time period and genre are no worse than some of the a-typical rock/metal from the 70's and 80's.

I also like some rap, especially rap in foriegn languages, the Danish Rap group L.O.C happens to be an epiphany, as if you don't like rap in general, it's strange how the danish language somehow makes it pretty.

As well as enjoying classical music, perhaps I can blame that on being a band geek, but I think having a sexy opera singer for a intro to music Proff in Uni definately had its influence as well.

In general my music tastes veer bi-polar, if it makes me happy I like it, if it lets me feel angry or sad I like it. So from Aqua and Peaches all the way to the afformentioned Crimson Thorn (they're death metal, you need the jacket sleeve to even know what the lyrics are :) )

Oh, and I like old skool country, Hank Williams, David Allen Coe, Jimmy Rogers, Dolly Parton, not much of a fan of new country, although my baby sister has some pretty amazing songs that I like individually in her new country music library. The only "new" country songs I can remember that I like would be "please don't take the girl" and God bless Texas . . . although I think I like the second one cause the music video had singing cows. Personally I think Singing Cows are win.
