so as was suggested in the other thread, here is a thread dedicated to the crashlanding compo.. start hitting it with all the weird n wonderfull ways you can think of to become annihilated in the compo ..

How about a multi killer, room decompression, but it causes the room to shrink not just loose the air. could be from a number of sources. a button, a door close, or from the fly-by pirates.

I'm sure this will be an interesting one, defo if it takes out 3 people.

I know you have the "decaying orbit" crashlanding. but what about special version, planet side. This way you can add in other animals toxic atmosphere, and a journey to get to the pod through desert/land/jungle

Also further ways to die.

Traps:
Piano wire trap, goes to the center of the room or near person and cuts them into small parts.
nanobot death, eaten from inside.

Doors:
constant opening/closing door, in a jump of fate.

New monster:
The biotoxic blob, normally undetectable to the naked eye. but they grow very large from the heat generated from a ship entering a planet.
Deaths:
slow digestion.
or the special version the cleaning blob of death. that when it touches you burns your skin off. but also cleans ship bulkheads.

idea for death
character opens door and sees a room full of pirates and notices they are playing russian roulette says can i play. his turn comes and he gets the fatal trigger pull.

acid spray trap

Wire/laser beam trap that slices perso up into small peices

crushing room, think star wars garbage compactor

tenticle type monster, like the one outta deep rising, slow death being eatten by one of it's "tubes"

incinerator room, burn! or a flamethrow outta a burst pipe or something.
poison gas, room/trap/burst pipe?

instead off a escape pod how about while u repair ship on the out side get hit by metor storm or weracks as the ship travels in space

Trap 1

How about a big sign on the wall saying free dinner next to a locked hatch.Ohh free dinner im hungry un locks the hatch as soon as the person does that a big what looks like a very long sticky wet dripping tongue shoots out and wraps around the person and begins to lift him into the hatch...but the size of the hatch is not big enough for a human to enter it so as the tongue tries to pull the body in bang bang bang the person gets knocked against the hole and snap there shoulders are broken and the body slides down the shute and the hatch slams shut never to be seen again

Trap 2

Also as walking along they have to walk over some pretty colured glass (ur choice to what colour )which is the width of the corrider and longer than a person can jump over. It looks like a solid sheet of glass and safe enough to cross.You can see a swirling mist or liquid underneath the glass.As the last person crosses it they notice a crack begin to appear and then a really big CRACK and shatters all over and they fall into a vat of dealdly acid and melt before ur eyes

New Room:
tripple gravity, causing slow walking very slow run. This roon can be a predator trap, a general trap room or a crushable room due to failing gravity.

New Death:
Falling lift.
neon light with free porn, walk into room and crushed in a press, or fall down a trap to land on some spikes.
Plasma exsplosion buring all close to it.
Hot steam from an overhead pipe, face melter time.

We also need a new tunring option.

How about a random from the start has the roll of being the space insomnia mental patient that goes on a killing spree till the final and can attack all groups ( once you are claimed by the insomnia you can't win the game ). weapon of choie baseball bat (or a parge pipe) Drooling is optional.

Whoopsie! One of the crates in the cargohold held a biological experiment. The monster [number of arms/legs/heads/mouths/claws/other deadly things of choice are decided by a roll of the dice. ;) ] greets the player in [random room etc]. Horrendous death follows, accompanied by a lot of screaming.

Lose shrapnel becomes unsettled as a piece of the ship breaks off, causing the ship to shudder. Player is crushed against wall/floor/roof/door.

Player 1 goes; Hey, what's this button do? *presses*
Player 2 goes; *death by laser gun*
Player 1; Oh, err, sorry about that. Did it hurt much?

Player notices open door and examines it. Sees it leads to an open shaft and steps away. Soap on floor. Player slips into open shaft and falls to their death.

Player finds a cake/biscuit/smörrebröd, eats a peice to try and put the horrbile thoughts of incoming death out of their mind. Chokes and dies.

Roof beam / Supporting beam / cargo (topples over) caves in and crushes / impales / pinning player. Can also be the floor beam from the level below coming up through the floors.

Electric wiring runs wild and electrocute player.
Electric wiring running wild, overloads player's implants effectively frying his brain from the inside.
Implants explode - imploding brain from the inside.

Left over nocxium flies wild and land in players lab / hands and hence catches fire. (read nox description)
Left over Morphite is inhaled by player and he dies and painful death, due to the gasses.
Left over Megacyte explodes in players face.

Death by radiation from core breach.
Core breach - trapped in, caught by flames, fried by, toasted by.

Hull breach - sucked into space. Caught halfway by the force field raised to close hole.
