Broadcast Stream change

Eve Radio News

As you may or may not know we are upgrading our main broadcast machine.  Although its only a few years old its now doing a lot more things that when we first got it and its feeling the strain.

If I do my job right you shouldn't see much difference.  However since I'm not (I may have switched a live show, and we have lost Sunday through Tuesdays rewinds) you will.

One of the things I'm going to be doing shortly (the next day or two) is switching off the combined streams on the old server.  If you've been using the DNS entry to connect you should already be on the new server, however there are still around 5 people on the old one.  I recommend you check the links you're using on http://eve-radio.com/media/playpage.  In addition if you're using the HQ external stream you will have to get the new URL as the port has changed and revisit the HQ stream page http://eve-radio.com/media/beta-hq-stream-link to re-register your IP.

Finger crossed I don't break too much else!
