Erika Mizune (aka DJ Yumene) Running for CSM 11! Make sure to Vote on the 29th!

Eve Radio News

Greetings to all Eve Radio Listeners and Supporters!

I have been a part of the Eve Radio community since 2010. I joined on as a DJ shortly after starting to play Eve in 2011 and it has been a huge part of my Eve Career. I have the community here to thank for helping me along the way to where I am now.

In-game, I am a null-sec industrialist and also run a PVP alt where I can get my pew pew on. I am head of the industry team for my Corp, where we build and manufacture orders for the alliance and keep them supplied with ships to blow up. I am also the head logistics director for our alliance. I also spend a lot of my time helping new players to the game and getting them involved in what they want to do; PVP, Indy, Missions, Exploration, etc. I have been actively playing eve now for a little over 4 years now and during that time have also taken part of nearly every activity in Eve, though my main love will always go back to Industry.

One of the things that I have always admired CCP for is their interaction within the community and how they will go lengths to hear the views and opinions of the players; including the creation of the CSM (Council of Stellar Management). This is a council made of player elected people who represent us, the players. The CSM is now in it's tenth term, and it has gone a long way.

This year, we have elections just around the corner – tomorrow actually – and this is my second time running! I am running under my main character: Erika Mizune - on a null-sec industrial platform, an area that isn't widely represented. Industry is also very unappreciated because of it's nature to be “boring” and “tedious” - which it is, but one of my focuses will be to make industry become more interactive and less tedious; including mining and PI for instance. There are a lot of things that can be done to better this field, CCP has tried, but it hasn't worked.. I aim to give that voice to industry players all around. While my main focus is the Indy field, I do still have a wide range of knowledge of the other aspects of the game as well, which I feel would prove useful too.

In addition to this, I am also running on a platform that addresses the issues of accessibility and making Eve more accessible to more players. This is something that is very close to me and something that I feel would greatly benefit Eve, not only to retain players, but also to gain new ones that would be otherwise unable to play the game.

So with that said, I am asking you, the listeners and supporters of Eve Radio for your support by voting me and promoting me to be a representative on the CSM 11 Council this year as you have done for me last year. Help me be able to represent this game that we all love. I have the drive and the passion with the Eve Community at heart and I want to help make a difference.

Thank Everyone,

DJ Yumene / Erika Mizune
