Wanted : A Perspective

Eve Radio News

Eve Radio has been knocking around for what seems like forever. We're into our 8th year and seen every single Eve Online expansion, every community uproar and more than our fair share of inter organisational up's and downs.

We've also seen a huge number of DJ's come through our doors, bringing their own unique take on internet broadcasting and have seen some real legends lend their talents to our weekly lineup. However, times are a changing and we must change with it. While Eve Online continues to grow and prosper the needs and tastes of our listener base have evolved in new and interesting ways. Our content has always been aimed at those who love music, Eve Online and interacting with a vast opinionated community. We have done this in many ways, including a host of in game events, talk shows, seasonal spectaculars, weekly lotterys and a number of high profile high reward competitions. However, in order to continue to be both relevant and at the top of our game we need to adapt and make some necessary changes.

As such, early next year we will be revising our lineup of DJ's, shows and content in order to better service our listener community and grow in the same direction. To do that, we need your help in understanding the mood of the community.

We have just published an online survey that will ask a number of questions and request your opinions on our content, DJ's and shows as well as ask you what you want to see in early 2011 and beyond. You can take part in the survey right HERE.

Further to that, we would like to invite anyone that has had an interest in becoming a DJ at Eve Radio but were put off by a lack of slot availability to send in an application on spec. The recruitment form has been modified to allow you to select multiple days and slot times and upon a successful application we will discuss with you your preference and do our best to accomodate you. Please visit http://recruitment.gamingradio.net for the application form and recruitment details.
