How to listen

The easiest way to listen is via the website.

Ideally it should be playing now, and the control on this page should show you who's on.

To control it use the stop/play button at the top of the page, or the show if you want to control the volume.

If you use FireFox, Chrome, Opera or Safari under window we recommend that you get the WMP Plugin from Microsofts interoperability site as it handles buffering of streams better than the alternate flash player.

Another way to listen is in an external player of some kind, we have many different streams set up for various things, please don't go looking for streams as they change and move.  Please use the links listed here for external players and we will try and make sure they continue to work.

Normal 128k stream: http://stream.evehost.net:8000/

Mobile 64k stream: http://live3.evehost.net:8020/

And for those wanting a 256k stream, well first grab a premium subscription then head to the Beta HQ stream page which will add your ip to the white list (note it will give a 404 error if you aren't signed in on a premium account).

Schedule Preferences

Here you can save your prefered channel so when you visit our site it will default to that channel rather than the site default of the Smart Prime. Please note that for this to work you must set the site to remember your login, it will not change the channel once the player is already running, so if you login after visting the site you will have to manually change channel or refresh the site.

You may also save a default volume if the site default of 50% isn't suitable. Note: This doesn't seem reliable using the WMP plugin in none IE browsers (they ignore the value and use 50%)
